This is the first time I've come to the boards, been playing about 2 months now and have a build I'm pretty comfortable with. And it works well enough in comp arenas and GVG but against 4v4 Team arenas lately I've been getting crushed more often than not. I'm pretty proud of the build, only cause I know it's mine alone, but I'd love feed back on it.
I'm a MO/ME... Here's the build...

With this build I can stand toe-to-toe with most sword warriors and rangers, but I'm getting mopped up by mesmers and some smiters (not all smiters are created equal)
I've also watched protection monks handle damage seemingly better than myself. For example, there are some monks I can't kill with my spike elementalist...
Anyway, just thought I'd see what people thought. I hope this is the right forum for it, it's my first time posting

Switch mend condition for mend ailment, as you can use it on yourself. Drop blessed signet, for signet of devotion, as blessed signet would only give you 3 energy, as you are only maintaining one enchantment.

Not sure why exactly you're running the slow recharge MoP, although I suppose its a pretty decent arena spell. You could switch the suggested Signet of D (no offense, its a great skill, but random arenas is not where good energy denial happens) with Hex Breaker or Smite Hex - breaker will protect you from anticastering pretty well, just make sure you recast it the instant it goes down. Smitehex lets you help your teammates too, but won't lend you any protection against say Backfire, Shame or Diversion.
Other than that, its not too great for organized play but that build should live through Arenas just fine. I'm guessing you have 40% prot prayers recharge for MoP righto? Also, since with the lack of enchant rending or intelligence in random arenas, Light of Dwayna is probably the most viable res. MoP yourself and start Light - its as fast as hard res, but you can easily raise 2.
