Where might I find this staff late in the game?

I came across this smiting staff after completing one of the quests from early Post-Searing, and I thought it looked kinda cool on my elementalist. I would use it if it weren't for the fact that I found better staves back in Pre-Searing. But like all weapons you find early in the game, you should be able to find stronger versions later in the game, right? Well, none of the collectors seem to have this model of the smiting staff, and exploring areas of monk enemies has only turned up more of the other smiting staves.

I'd really like to know where to find a max damage version of this staff, or if a more powerful version even exists. Also, if you have one, I'm even willing to buy it if you can't quite point me in the direction of where you got it.

It looks nice. I never saw one of those.
