grrr my unique item!

when i first logged in my preorder item was there.. now its gone after recreating the same character? anyone know why this is? or if im goin to get it back?

I've got the same problem. I casually logged into one of the characters that I used during the beta and he had my item. I log into another...the one I actually want the item on...and the damn thing isn't there. Anyone know how to resolve this?

hmm the item isn't probibly ment to be handed out until the release or until you put in the cdkey of the release version of guildwarS?

Same problem here. I logged on my first character, who had BOTH of my pre-order items (I had two pre-order keys). I actually deleted the bow since that character wasn't going to use it, and then after recreating the character don't have either my bow or my icon on any of my characters.

I hope they come back! My mesmer/monk wasn't going to use a bow anyway so I can't imagine they would just randomly assign these items to characters on your account.

Same problem - I remade my first character and now I have nothing-no aura, no bow. Where do we go to get some answers about this?

Same for me ! how freakin dumb..my Monk has the bow and my Ranger doesn't. This realy needs attention.

I wouldn't worry too much. Anet has always come through and I'm sure they will correct this and we'll all get our pre-order items.

Sucks now atm I know. But it will be fixed.

aha how lovely i just saw a green txt in game that said that the preordered items are being fixed gotta love that =) atleast we know now they are fixing it. love how they could speak in game like that.. never seen that before..

I read something awhile ago that said you could give the item to your different characters from your account screen(before fully in the game).

Does it still show the name of the item on your account screen like when you first signed on?
If so, is there any way to drag it to a character, or any options at all?

EDIT: Alright then, guess it was a problem.

The item goes to the first person you log in with, as far as I an tell.

Don't worry about the items. They will be more universally given (to all your characters) after we fix this little glitch. We are aware the situation and will correct it very soon! Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for the update Gaile! Any idea how this will be implemented? Do I have to create my characters before the fix or will the items appear on each as I create new ones?

Thanks for the update I just posted about the glitch in the item stats area. Hopefully by the time I come from school it'll be fixed

It's showing up on 2 of my characters, but not the one I'm currently playing. I'm up to level 5 and I've been putting points into Hammer Mastery in hopes that I'll get to use the war pick at some point before level 20. I bet people who purchased multiple preorders for multiple items are really pissed.

Gaile, I have what i think is a bug.
My unqiue item is the chimerical prysm.

When i logged on, and made my warrior character, he had 3 chimeric prysms.

Then, when i made my pvp character, he didnt have one.


Is this also a bug? Do you or anyone else have the same problem, or know about it?

And i have no problems with my preorder items here, which is strange

well my new characters get the item. the one that i made after i redid my first character still doenst have one.

i miss my bow.
