Alternative UW entrance

This isnt the most useful thing, but there is alternative entrance to the UW!

It is in Lornars Pass. Towards the bottom near the Dreadnaught's Drift portal, there is a collector on the east side. He is standing at the entrance to what I assume is a temple to Grenth or something. If you go inside and follow the hall down for a little bit, you will find a Statue of Grenth that will indeed take you into the underworld if you pay 1 plat!

I probably wouldn't recommend you actually go into the underworld from here since Beacons only allows a 6 person team, but it's a fun thing to know

If you are a forge runner, this statue can also be very useful because you can also buy bonuses from it which stay with you for the entire run down to droks!

Yes, but if you come up from the south then you can have an 8 person team. Perhaps a nice DP too

Can you take henchies to the UW with this entrance?

i wonder if the DP from comeing up from Rankor would carry over.
i've noticed the temple but always presumed it simply functioned like the other instanced temples (ie the funny enchantment thing or the marale boost).
this means you could go to underworld with reasonable lvl henchmen

You can give an offering and get yourself a +10% morale bonus. Depending on what your DP is, this cost a few hundred gold at most.

I've heard that theres a balthazaar statue for FoW too, but I've never found it. The last place I heard it was at was the Falls, but when I ran there with my ranger, There wasn't an option to go into the fissure, just the enchantment and morale.

can you do this when you don't have favor?

All statues in tyria are inactive unless you have favor
