Anyone know what happens when you dye a shadow shield and eternal shield, or storm bow?
Is it the same thing that happens to a chaos axe? I don't feel like wasting dyes to try.
Dyeing odd items

Dye can be a very big waste of gold:
- Orange looks good on your 'I' screen, but is brown in-game (just as if it was never dyed).
- Red is dark pink when applied to brown armor
- Green is good and shows up on armor
- Purple shows up on armor well also
- Blue shows up well
- Yellow is just like Orange - crap on armor that is brown-based.
Mix and match. Test and waste gold. Find your combo. I have never dyed a weapon.

I'm not sure if it will make a difference with everything, but you might want to try using dye remover before adding any colors.
