How to Report Things to ArenaNet

If you are wondering if we will continue to have the Official Bugs Threads, now that the game is live, well, no, we won't. There is still a way to report bug, glitches and even exploits and cheats, and it's as close as www.guildwars.com. Simply click the Support button on the site, and submit a "ticket" through our Knowledge Base. The search engine will give you a few suggested responses, but if none of them fit, go ahead and "Ask a Question" and our Support Team will get the report right away and tend to it as soon as possible. We have people working round the clock to help out with problems, and of course we're always doing our best to answer your questions. Don't forget our Online Manual, www.guildwars.com/manual, and use the Knowledge Base for questions and reports.

How about suggestions for those things that aren't really bugs? For instance right now the party window position defaults back to hovering over the radar whenever you change areas, which is quite annoying, but hardly a bug or glitch. What would be the best way to report such an issue?

I think that is a bug, actually. The window should stay as placed. So I would encourage you to report that.

/bug in game still works. Will those messages be ignored?

Yes I found the same thing and sent a /bug report on it. However, the question is that still a thing that is being used is unanswered.

Can we use the same functionality to submit suggestions for improvement? Or are those to be directed to any forums that you might host?

I too am still using the /bug report. It says thank you so being so polite, I can only assume they are still reading them. I suspect they arn't advertising it because with all the new users they would have umpteen-billion /bug reports a day. I suspect, also that they assumed that their beta testers would still use the command into release and they (the beta testers) know what to report. If they (ArenaNet) advertise that command they would have too endure a million people reporting broken missions and quests just because they weren't smart enough to complete them properly. I did that yesterday and only after sending the bug report did I discover my error and I felt like a dolt.

I took a screen shot of an odd bug/glitch while walking around in some place, (forgotten name now) anyways i summited the bug using the command /bug. but it still hasnt been fixed.

What i did was, i could put my character and whole party ontop of a massive rock far up on the mountain range, of course i'm not ment to be there. but its funny you walk up to this big rock, click forward get stuck then click back to get out of the rock and wella your ontop of the mountain peak. there is nothing up there tho. and you have to travel to get off it. i accerdently stumbled across it, when killing a hydra. it disapeared so i ran after it thinking it was stuck in the rock. and then i had this duel on the mountain peak, silly enough.

anyways can i summit my screen shot to this summit thing.. gale?

ya ive been doing /bug and sending in many diffrent annoying bugs...so were all those unchecked... doh

Please note this is a problem that I am having with all three of my accounts. I have two accounts on one computer and one on another computer. Here is the problem, the monk henchman will not heal me period 99% of the time. This problem started about mid-May, prior to that everything was fine. I tried taking just the monk henchman and myself as a two party team to see if that would work, nope she would just stand there not healing watching me die.
No one else in my guild are having this problem. I don't know if it would help to do a new install of GW since the game is saved on line. I have submitted this problem in a bug report, but the only response I got back was a computer generated message asking was I still having this problem each time I responded. What I need to know is do I have to delete my accounts and reinstall my games?

What about things like my problem with dying monk armor? How would I report those? I'd need pictures.
There are problems when dying it red+black, and I'd like those problems resolved somehow. My armor has some noticable problems, as seen in these two pictures. The first is obvious, and in the second, there is a line appearing on the back of the chest armor.

Add the pictures to your support ticket with the 'add attachments section.'

There are slight graphical changes, but from what I've seen, all regions are templated approximately the same way.
