Depends where you're fighting mostly. Typically since you're a warrior, most people will generally just want you for your high AL values. Bring along one or two stances, a method of resurrecting fallen allies, and then whatever attack skills you like.
Most groups will probably hate you for bringing mending into battle so don't.

If you're ascended, then you can change secondary at will, right?
(if you can't yet, please do it, it will help)
Don't hesitate to change secondary depending on where you are going and the map and problem you'd be facing.
If you're playing with PUGs, chances are you'd be on your own if you are hexed or get conditions on you. Same goes with henchperson, since they don't know how to take that blind out of you. Or any of those annoying hexes.
If I know I'll face lot of hexes, I just pick a mesmer secondary and hex breaker - shatter hex. Hex caster are softie so dmg is likely to be good enough
If I know I'll face lot of conditions, I'd go necromancer and take plague touch.
If I know I'll face lot of enchant... Well usually, those are smiters critters, and that's kind of low damage per hit, but quite often. Healing seed? Otherwise, you don't have the energy to be a healer yourself: healing seed would be my only exception to that rule in those circumstances. To be honest, facing smiters, usually monk henchppl can keep up with the damage
And if facing hydras and the like, with big nasty massive damage thingy: protection monk with a sweet protection bond (-essence bond). The good news is that those big damage dealer don't have un enchant.
As far as your warrior skill goes, in the endgame many conditions won't work anymore, so pay attention to that too. So for an axe, I'd rather have penetrating blow and disrupting chop than trying to set up a dismember - whatever combo. Some stances and shouts are nice too
I am partial for shield stance (last long...) and "watch yourself". That last one is an area 25% damage reduction that you can spam all the time... What's not to love?
But you'll find your own favorite skills
