Yes its spread thin, but on paper the damage bonus's look good and in a few(15) random arena matches it tore right through everything that I came up against single handed except a protection monk spamming reversal and prot spirit and shielding hands I believe.
Kindle Arrows 24sec +16 damage
Serpents Quickness 25sec -33% recharge
Weaken Armor 16sec -20 armor on target
Life Transfer 9sec 6 degen/regen
Order of Pain 6sec +10 damage
Penetrating Attack +17 damage +20% penetration
Favorable Winds +6 damage x2 movement speed
Winnowing +4 damage
Sundering PvP Horn Bow of Enchanting, Sunder 10%/10% and +20% enchant, +15% if enchanted
Druid's Armor
+36 damage to normal shots
+53 +20% more penetration with PA
Works fairly well until whoever I nailed first realized I did it or the rest of the team noticed what happened decides I need to die right then, no defenses other than Life Transfer which is more there to cover weaken and cause a little added DPS if they don't remove quickly.
Caught one poor warrior frenzying and killed in 2 penetrating shots spammed off. Worst thing so far is a mesmer to realize whats happening or another ranger setup for interrupts to shut me down.
Opinions? Flames? Disbelief I'd spread this thin seemingly?
Viable R/N?

Mr Jazzy
why an enchant bow? rangers dont use enchantments, so you're relying on teammates

Order of Pain is an enchantment, +20% adds another second to the duration, which allows me to fire off another shot with its bonus.

You do realize that with fav winds, winnowing, kindle, weaken armor, and order of pain, it will be 17 seconds before you can fire you first shot. 7 seconds if you lay the spirits in advance, but 7 is still bad. Not to mention that you must reapply Order of Pain every 5 seconds, and the energy requirements of weaken armor and constant orders..... no thx.

Yes, yes I do. I didn't make it for maximum efficiency but to see how much damage I could squeeze out of the combination. Was pretty impressive. I started without a preparation to use with Barrage and mark of pain for taking out alter's but then moved to this since most situations find you fighting single opponents spread out.
Also its fun to use on a Frenzying warrior attacking monks. they get hit with weaken then change to sprint then while you are casting your other spells on yourself they swap back and you can zap em pretty good.
This isn't my serious R/N build but it was kind of fun to play around with.
Was looking for some insight on whether it might work in some bigger build, but if it would a N/Mo casting the Order's and a Me/N casting the weaken to call targets and shutting them down.
Well I guess I have half of a build going already in my head.

Kindle arrows turns your attacks into fire, and fire won't trigger most of those bonus damage effects.

Kindle Arrows - Preparation
For 24 seconds, your arrows deal an additional 3-20 Fire damage.
Not changes damage to fire.

Yeah, Kindle Arrows is fine.
But what's the point of Life Siphon? First, the skill sucks. Second, it seems to have no relation to the rest of your skills. If you need must have healing, take Troll Unguent (another awful skill), but at least it'll have a purpose rather than being thrown in there and having little effect life Siphon would.
Overall, the build is Random Arena worthy, so go nuts.

Not changes damage to fire. Yes, that's what the skill description says. But in reality it does seem to change base damage to fire damage as well. I use a bow with regular pierce attack + kindle arrow, against mobs with elemental resistance, and compare damage to the pure attack without kindle arrow, and it appears the pure pierce attack does just about same amount of damage as pure pierce attack PLUS kindle arrow, so my thought was kindle arrow does convert base pierce attack to fire attack. And I read somewhere else in the forum that other people have observed the same thing. BTW, my kindle arrow's damage is +17 fire damage. So this may be a bug.

If you want to punch through those enchantments, grab Melandru's Arrows and Desecrate/Rend. Sure. Let that monk/elementalist/whatever pile on the enchantments. You punish him or her by damaging your target for every enchant they have, then use Mel's Arrows with bow attacks to do pretty crazy damage for a Ranger. Then rip down those enchantments with Rend.
