White Water

I have NO issues with game play or crashing or any other graphic part of the game so this is more an annoyence then anything but te water outside of Destiny's Gorge Just refuses to load properly.




Is there any reason why this water specificaly wouldnt load?

What kind of video card do you have?

This could also be a download you missed. You only download textures, skins, effects when you need them (i.e. when you enter a certain area) It could be that you just never got the texture/animation for the water. This could also be a problem with your video card settings. I know NVidia has settings to turn off fog, some animations, ect... You might try tweaking those via the cards control panel.

I have ATI 8500.

Its very very odd becuase all other water works even other water that looks like this water. Every once in a while this water will glitch on and out it goes agian.
I just found it odd that only the water along that first area outside Destinys ALWAYS does this. Shouldnt it download everytime i enter that area?

No, not necessarily. Once you download a skin or texture, you dont have to download that file again. You said it sometimes shows up and sometimes doesn't? That would say that you already have the file it just does not display correctly. I think this may be a non-clientside glitch. Just like the bridges in the reed bog and their impassable invisible walls.

i occassionally get this "white" water too. i just alt-tab the game and alt-tab it back and it usually fixes the problem. btw, i have a nvidia 6800 GT
