15pt attribute quest is bugged?

Ok. My last thread was locked for no reason. I used the search but nothing came up about this. Annelle Fipps wont give me the Forgotten Ones. Any ideas on what prequisties i havent done?

I did the Warriors, Elementalists, Necros path.

I did the 2 quests from Vanyi. (The One where Sanyi turns evil [heros challenge] and the one where u visit the 3 cities [heroes journey])

But annelle wont give me this quest! What do i need to do elsewhere!

Did you do it previously? Technically it's not a 15 pt attribute quest, but you get that quest after finishing the quest you get from Augury Rock, if you've Ascended. A couple of friends did that quest before Ascending and couldn't get the 15 attributes because they completed the quest already.

note: Making a thread similar to the locked one might not have been a good idea, it was locked for a reason.

So Basically, im screwed. Just like i get 45% dp and i cant be rezzed or just like The Kings Message quest cant be completed because i cant get the Ambassador to recgonize i have henchies with me. This game is so bugged.

The way I remember it is this: You get the forgotten ones quest from that person in Destiny's Gorge. You go out in the desert to find this person (a Forgotten; I dont remember his weird name). He gives you another quest which is the quest that gives you 15 attribute points.

Your stats say you are a Mo/W, could you be running a 105 build (aka invinci-monk build), and with that build, it's not a bug, not being able to be ressurected at a certain DP percentage. It's a side effect of that build.

Did u get the 15 from vanyi? couse i ran into a problem where vanyi woulnt give it to me couse i changed secondary prof b4 i went to her and so i had to change back to my original sencondary b4 she gave it to me.

suggestion: LFG Forgotten Ones

pretend that you need this quest. after the escort, talk to that snakeman and get the 15 attribute quest.

I have heard many people complain about this quest and the fact that vanyi simply does not give it to them, one of these people is a guild member. Personally I had no difficulties involving this quest. When I spoke to Vanyi she gave me 2 quests one of which was the extra attib points. My friend and guild partner has informed me he has done the quests previous to this one and cannot understand why it is not available to him. So I believe this quest is bugged. Not having these extra attribute points can put some players at a disadvantage. This should not be allowed to happen, especially when Guild Wars fgoes a long way to promote balanced gameplay.

For the Vanyi one, they'll have to do one of the change profession quests. they DO NOT have to accept the change. just do the quest. then go back to Vanyi and problem solved (In fact Vanyi hinted on it. I ran into the same problem and figured that I might have to do one of those quest).

Yeah, it happened to me too. Actually with my Warrior and Elementalist. I simply cannot do the quest to find that guy in the desert but I got the one in Droknar's Forge. It's a bug.

i have a warrior/ele too and it wont give me the forgotten ones quest. I even followed a group from destiny's gorge that first did forgotten ones, then did forgotten wisdom so i could talk to the npc's and they didnt give me anything. Any clue?

This is likely the problem. If you die multiple times with the build (I did it for fun once) you cannot be rezzed as long as the superior runes remain in place. It really freaks teammates out (I did it to friends) when they think their rez is "broken."

That happened to me in the UW once. Instead of going on without me, the other monk kept using Rebirth on me......which would teleport me to the monk's location, where I promptly died as soon as I rezzed.

Using Rebirth, they were able to drag my dead body through the UW!

If you use a Ressurection Signet, you will be restored to full life, negating the superior runes' side effect.

What's the proper order of things to do for both these and not have it bug up? I've only just arrived at Sanctum with my 1st character and would prefer not to botch it.

Do the Forgotten One's quest after Ascending. You can get the quest, just don't do it before Ascending.

Thanks, pretty sure I have that quest (haven't started) already; so I'll just hold off on quests till post-missions.
