Hey folks!
I'm wondering if anyone here is having the same problem. Seems that everytime I log into GW and get to the screen where I need to choose between "PvP" and "Roleplay," the client drops me back to the log-in screen and then either crashes me back to the desktop or it just hangs.
I have a 3.5GHz Pentium 4, 256MB ATI Radeon X800XL, and 1GB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM Dual Channel of RAM.
EDIT: Hmm...this is interesting. Seems that when I turn off Anti-Aliasing and choose a refresh rate of 60MHz (rather than staying with "Default") I can click the option for "Roleplay," but then I have to wait a second before I'm brought to the character creation menu, and if I click the "Roleplay" option again during that short wait period, I get dumped back to the log-on screen. How odd...
Can't get past the log-in screen...

Ok, i'm no super expert in the technical part, but maybe you can try putting all details and stuff at lowest?
How about your video drivers, are they up to date? And Directx? is it the right version?
Yes? Ok, nevermind me

Yeah, I've got the latest drivers for my card and Direct X. And, again, as I posted earlier, as long as I turn off Anti-Aliasing and run that Refresh Rate at 60MHz, I'm relatively okay; I just can't click the "Roleplay" option twice.
Weird stuff.
Now, I also loaded GW on another machine with a 1.7MHz AMD Athlon 1700+, 512MB RAM and a 128MB GeForce FX 5200, and I have no trouble running the game. Granted, on the highest settings, it's not super smooth, and it doesn't look as pretty as it does on my main machine. I'm guessing there is a problem with the ATI card.
