Is there a ladder for individual players?

Besides the guild ladder, do individual players get into some sort of ladder based on fame perhaps? If so what would determine getting better fame? Surely there will be lots of one on one PvP so those wins and losses will count for something? Else after a while it can get pretty boring, I think
