That's all.

It's been building up in me for awhile. Just tired of being left behind if I want to pick up a drop or heal myself.

I don't expect any responses. Just felt like blowing off steam.

I agree, that can be annoying.

A problem all too common. I just get henchies or guildmates to help me on missions. People like that are the same ones that complain about "poor" healing because they don't let their monks recharge. That's when you use a temp res on them when they die! mwahahaha

I am the monk....I heal when I want to heal....I rez when I want to rez...and I go to the next battle when I WANT to go the next battle. As far as I am concerned this game doesn't require a monk. All missions can be completed without one(my first character was a ranger and I seldomly requested the presence of a monk). If you're too lazy to learn how to use your character to it's correct potential AND you want me to heal/rez you because you don't want to be bothered with having to play the game correctly, you're gonna have to wait for me to pick up my drops and regen my energy.

Exactly. Same goes for everything non Monk too. I remember playing a mission where a warrior and an ele would keep charging ahead and aggroing mobs. We came to a hard point and two rangers were going to set up traps and pull, but the warrior and ele charged in anyways. I was using a warrior and I told everybody to hold the line and let the people who charge in die instead. Those two people got killed and we had to wait until all the mobs they horded together split up before pulling the mobs into traps and killing them. Finally we revive the two people who keep running ahead.

Just don't do anything if they insist on charging ahead and let them die (actually, even if you wanted to do something, you probably can't because you have no mana, etc).

when in groups, say doing a location mission. I think its fair that everyone decide who is leader, who calls targets and what the battle plans are. That way if anyone disagrees before going into battle, kick em out. Those that charge ahead do not do well for the whole group unless say its a lv20 character helping people fight through the first Ascalon mission against a few devouer you can kill with one hit lol. I've gotten into the habit of ctrl + Health or energy to show that I'm gonna hang back and recharge. Let them rush ahead, mob everyone on them and I'll show up ready and fully charged with meteor shower heh.

What I hate is when someone in the group charges on ahead and all the hench follow... and all die, leaving you alone wondering wtf to do now.

When I'm monking one simple rule is - If you decide to stray from the team feel free to do so at your own risk. I'm not abandoning the others just to give you a rez/heal. If you're fine without healing - then good for you. But if you need to be rezzed you'll have to wait until everyone else is done fighting.
