It IS an emote it doesn't happen while you emote.

/rank or /fame they both do the same thing.

As someone said
0-2=nothing
3-5=deer
6-8=wolf
9=Tiger

Some people claim 12 is dragon but no one is 12 and then I've heard people say there is no rank 10 either. Frankly I don't give a damn I'm too lazy to find out.
