Hi there. I am way new to GW and just went post searing for the first time the other night. My questions is regarding the Great Northern Wall zone. What exactly is going on there? There are tons of people lfg and shouting but I ran around and found the zone to be really small. I decided to lfg and got one instantly and BAM, was suddenly in a big area running behind three people not talking through a couple cinematics then we were done and I left the group...
Is that it for that zone? Was it just a zone to get to the town (I forget what town it too me to atm)?

Um, wow, well...first, not meant to be a flame, but you might read through your game manual...
Second, it's part of the RP story to the game, you complete each of these areas to move on through the game until you finish all of these "missions". It's not meant to be a short movie and then leave the group you joined and go somewhere else. Finish the mission and it will start making more sense to you.

Problem was the people I was with knew what was going on and wouldn' tell me. I asked them "what next?" once we got to that town and no one replied so I waited a bit and just left the group. Guess I will have to read the manual or something

Hehe, I did the same thing when I started. I had no clue what co-op missions were. I justed plaayed, I did the quest to go to the Northern Wall, but then I just continued questing and got to Fort Ranik. I ended up beating Ranik first and was completely confused when I went back to do the wall.
All areas with shield icons on the map are co-op missions.

the thing is many mission towns are accessible by walking... doing missions, though, allow you to see what's going on with the story and take you through the game's main area without you having to travel too much. also you get the 1000xp and 1 skill point from finishing a mission and 1000 more xp for finishing the bonus
if i were in your group i'd explain everything to you through whisper after the mission. some people are just tired of explaining..
