What kind of time is required?

I am interested in playing the game, but am not sure that I will be able to dedicate hours at a time to it like many other gamers will. Just to make sure that buying it isn't a waste of time for me, when I get gaming chunks of time, usually they are in spurts of 1-2 hours. Maybe 3 at best. Could I hope to be successful at this game with those kinds of limitations on time? This isn't an MMORPG as I understand it so maybe it doesn't work with the same type of rules as some other games where you MUST spend hours at a time in order to satisfyingly advance.

a half hour could conclude more than one quest and an hour or two would be more than a mission (of course it may take more than one try )

And that's one of those things that makes this game so different
