I think this would be a welcome addition to the game as with this skill you could get a level 20 hell hound which wouuld be a lot more useful further ingame.And because of the rechange time it isnt spammable.

With such recharge time the hellhound must be really strong, I don't see how a level 16 hellhound can be that strong..... O.o I'd rather massing those bone thingies.

Maybe with a recharge time of 10 ?!

doom with no runes or anything it would be level 16 with runes and scar patterns it could be level 20 , yeah recharge of 10 sounds good

Yea but I would mainly use minions to tank for me more than deal damage, if I'm to waste an elite slot on this, this hellhound better have a DAMN LOAD OF HP :P
I'd preffer grenth's balance over this one anytime though, just my opinion.

Yeah the casting time and the recharge would need to come down a bit to be closer to the current Animate spells. Would be an interesting addition, but I would think there would be more important things aside from this.

For 30 Energy..meh... at 16 death I think you can summon lvl 18 horrors, not too far off from lvl 20 so the hell hound better have really good stats otherwise it'd be just a waste of skill slot. Something like lvl 24 hellhound with lots of hp and decent def would be nice for a tank.

Yeah, but if you did that they'd probably have to increase the health degen rate to balance the increase in stats. It would be a good tank just not for as long.

damn, I was about to post about summon hellhound...

my idea, tho, is to make the hellhound summoned from thin air...

in the game, hellhound enemies leave corpses, so....

the hellhound would be appropriately expensive/weak, but it allows necros to produce corpses for pvp and such.
