How is gold divided in a party?

When you have a party of 6 people, and you pick up 37 gold, who gets the extra gold piece? Also, if one person has 100K on them and cannot hold more money, does their share disappear, or is it split among the others? And what if everyone has 100K on them: can the party not pick up gold at all?

LOL if they all have 100K on them WTH r they doing out there in the first place. :-)

I believe the extra piece of gold is lost. Never tried getting party members to carry 100k gold on them

I believe that gold is devided evenly, and any remainder just gets dropped.

And if anyone goes out adventuring while carrying 100k, then they either A) have maxed out their stash and forgot to buy something, B) are really stupid, or C) they just forgot to drop off their cash at their stash.

haha, as a matter of fact, if you have 100k on you, the gold is split between the remaining members! just found that out last night in the UW when i got my first 100k! ^^

Excellent. I was hoping someone would know. Anyone want to experiment with me and see what happens when a full party all has 100K on them? It really isn't an uncommon problem when your stash and all four characters are maxed out on gold capacity, but you still want to adventure or help out some friends on their quests.
