I'v noticed that people seem to be buying Health -50 items for farming chars. I asked one person why and he said the less health you have the less damage you take. Is this true? I have a farming monk and I am thinking of going with the crowd and buyin a health -50 focus item.
PS. Iv also noticed increased dye drops... anyone else noticed?

The -50 Health item is referring to the 55 and 105 Monk Builds that are commonly used to solo UW. It abuses Protective Bond (Take only 5% damage) and lowest possible health making you nearly invincible. Do a search for it if you're curious.

To use it effectively yes, and to even get to UW , u have to ascend which USUALLY takes u to 20 unless u rushed a LOT

No, if you're lower level, you have less health, if you have less health and you can get to another damage breakpoint, it's even better.
It's a pitty 55 Healh is minimum for lvl 20, 39 Health would be perfect

They want the -50 because of a skill that makes it so you can only take 5% damage.... herm it seems it's been explained.

yes, I just did pre searing yesterday with a new charry, and I found x2 silver dyes, x1 of everything else except for no blacks

Having to be ascended to get into the UW is false... I think it was just assumed and now is thought of as the truth. My N/E's first trip into the UW was before she was ascended...

From the July 13th update notes on thje official site:
Added party configuration requirement so that parties containing henchmen or unascended players are now prevented from entering the Fissure of Woe and the Underworld.

Fwiw... I have a lvl 20 character that's probably more like lvl 25, and that has yet to complete the actual Ascension mission, yet can get into UW and FoW just fine. It probably just checks what one's level is, rather than if they've completed the Ascension mission or not. However, this character had reached lvl 20 before the update, and been into the FoW a few times... so don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I've noticed more dyes too. I was outside Piken Square killing Charr for some hides, and got 2 yellow and 1 silver pretty quickly. Or maybe it was because I was soloing. I dont usually do that.

I have a 20th level W/Mo, and it wouldn't let me. Said something like "The gods say that ______ (My character's name) is not allowed since he's not ascended"

Ascenciion is required. Not running to temple of ages th emin you become level 20, but actually playing the game and beating your Mirror Self in augry rock (in the crystal desert). THAT is ascension.
