Need opinion on hammer I just found.

So there it is. Perfect vampiric haft, max damage and you can read the rest. Question for you guys... do I sell this, or try the expert salvage? Also, if I was going to sell it what do you think is a fair price?

(not trying to say this is godly, but I know that 5:1 is worth quite a bit of dough...)

There is a a section of this forum where you can ask for price checks on items. The section is "Etc" is Ventari's Sell. They'd have a better opinion than mine...

Like what was stated earlier, put this up in the "etc" forum for a price check.

But if you want my opinion, I think you would get far, far more for the haft then the hammer as a whole.

DO NOT SALVAGE THIS... I will have to go with the previous post on going to ect and getting a price check but if you salvage you take the risk of getting the shelter mod which would be very sad for you and this is a 15% bonus gold weapon. The only way that bonus could be better would be if it was 15% over 50% but this is stll a very good bonus.

I used expert salvage kit on one like that before for the perfect vampiric mod. Unfortunately, I got wood planks!

How many wood planks is a fair trade for a 5:1 hammer haft?

Why salvage a max dmg hammer with a very good max dmg modifier?

I wouldn't salvage it. It has really good mods, and I wouldn't want to take the chance on losing that vamperic mod. If you want to sell it, sell it whole. I'm sure someone would pay a hefty price for it.

I wouldn't salvage it either, this is a great hammer for a W/Mo that uses mending or another similar enchantment. Very nice find!
