Access key WTF Help me ASAP

I made my account, put in the CD-key, and confirmed my account w/ the email and everything. I go to make a character and it says "enter a new access key" after I choose Roleplaying character. I dont have another access key. Its the one inside the CD case. It says that one is already registered to my account. I didnt play beta, I didnt buy collectors edition, I WANT TO PLAW GW, SOMEONE HELP ME PLZ, I TRIED GW SUPPORT SITE AND NO HELP! WHAT DO I DO!??!?

Most likely you have the retail version. With retail keys you will be able to play the 28th (tomorrow). Pre-orders get to play the 27th.

Yes, it's as simple as that, unless you pre-ordered, you have to wait until the 28th to play the game. I'm waiting too.

I did pre order, do I just need to enter my pre order key where is says new access key?'

EDIT: OK I entered pre order key, IT [email protected] but it went to the where u choose what kinda char u want and it says "connecting" and has for a while, looks like it doin nothing. It supposed to do this?

actually, I was going too, but since I preordered it sunday and didnt get to do beta, I almost lost the beta key so I was like, its probably not that. Then when sum1 said to use the beta I went and actually found.

I Created a character and.. I now get suprised WITH A NICE PATCH! Hurray

i didn't pre order i just bought one today...so does it mean on 04-28-05 i can play? will it ask to add an access key? if so where can i get another access key or is the one that came with the game all i need...

ya, if all you have is the retail cd-key, you have to wait untill 12am PST on april 28, aka, tonight at midnight for west coasters. when you start the game and create the account and all that jazz, you should only need to put in the 1 cd-key, the only people that would need to put in more then 1, would be those that pre-ordered the game or if they have more then 1 preorder package from other retailers. theres an option in the account where it will allow you to add more cd-keys, im guessing thats for the crazys that went and got like every pre-order package so they get all the different items
