Suggestions for a new character?

I'm sure you guys get this ALL the time, but I looked around the forums and I didn't find any posts regarding suggestions for picking a good race.

I just bought the game and I'm waiting for the retail server access later on tonight. Until then, I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of character I should use. Back in Nov/Dec, I played the beta for a weekend and I really liked the human warrior. I also tried a ranger, but I ended up finding them hard to use solo.

Now I am thinking about a Necro or a Warrior again. What do you guys think? Any input would help! List some Pros/Cons.

Can no one offer me some suggestions?

war/monk for solo is a good norm.

u should check "the campfire" section for builds and suggestions.
