I have been playing for about 4 months now. I have an Intel 82852 gfx controller on a 1.4ghz centrino laptop. I got past the crashing issue, but having a program up in the background (like TeamSpeak) crashes me out. I can play fine for about 30 mins-1 hr, textures start to turn white and i crash out. The game says "Out of memory exefile.cpp". All i have running is Team Speak. i have upped my page file to 4 gigs from 700 megs, cranked all the settings to LOW or OFF. I have 512mb DDR ram in my laptop. Any help??

what OS you running could it be spyware ? mabye a memory leak in true speak? Who knows. Try running it without true speak and see how long runs. Theres so many virables here dude. Could be some damn background process that you don't even know is running. Keep us posted tho

I suggested this to another player.. so it might b worth a shot for you to try.

go to START Menu -> Run...

type msconfig.exe

Than go to Services tab -> check Hide All Microsoft Services

then click on Disable All

then click on STARTUP tab -> click Disable All.. -> Apply -> Ok than it will ask you to restart.. select yes and tr running GW again after the computer reboots.

This is the EXACT problem that I was having a little while ago. I mean pinpointed. The way I fixed it was to simply lower the resolution in the options menu. It means that your computer was out of video memory. TS and vent were the ones that killed me too. I dont know what they have to do with it, but lowering resolution helped it and I havent gotten that error message in the month or so since I did that. It makes everything bigger but hopefully you dont mind, and you will adjust to it soon enough.
