like it says...you're running out of memory. At 512mb DDR RAM i'd guess you have an awful lot of spyware/adware/malware running on your system...

indeed if you have a 2Ghz P4 than your CPU is fine to run the game.. with 512 mb of memory you should be fine as well...

What's your vidoe card?

But that woudlnt affect the error you're getting..

try this out..

go to START -> Run...

type msconfig.exe

Than go to Services tab -> check Hide All Microsoft Services

then click on Disable All

then click on STARTUP tab -> click Disable All.. -> Apply -> Ok than it will ask you to restart.. select yes and tr running GW again after the computer reboots.

I would lean more towards the spyware possibility. Everytime I have ever seen this type of error, gobs of spyware was the cultprit every time. Download Microsoft Anti-Spyware - it's free and does a decent job. If you are a MS hater, grab the Adaware/Spybot S&D combo.

I would lean towards MS Anti-Spyware. It is a very, VERY stable program and it works wonderfully. It scans, the registry, all processes, and all files if you tell it to.

You can also try downloading spybot search and destroy and/or adaware. I too think this is a malware issue. You can download both programs from download.com. I would suggest running both of them as they tend to find different things. I use them both along with McAfee spybot cleaner about once a week as I spend a ton of time on the net.
