I've been having more fun with this build than I care to admit. It's terribly vulnerable to enchantment removal and any sort of knockdown build, but why do I care in the Random Arena? Woohoo!

Healing 12 (Plus whatever rune you can get...)
Protection 3 (Plus.. meh.)
Swords 12

Here's the core of the build:

Word of Healing (E)
Healing Breeze
Mend Ailment
Vigorious Spirit
Live Vicariously
Resurrection Signet

Then you get your pick of warrior abilities.

I recommend Wild Blow (see below), and either Hamstring or Flurry... but season to taste. Cast Live Vicariously on yourself ASAP and Vigorous Spirit as necessary. Every time you swing that sword you ought to get about 25 hitpoints. If things get nasty put Breeze on yourself and you'll be quite difficult to kill. At the same time you're doing reasonable damage! Whee! Word of Healing and Mend Ailment help your teammates immensely.

The most important thing about staying alive is to be continually hitting someone. Wild Blow will drop those pesky stances, and Hamstring stops those pesky runners. Flurry increases you hits (and heals), without Frenzy's nasty disadvantage. Wild Blow will also make warriors and rangers happy because nobody else ever packs it.

This isn't high art, it's not an instant kill, it's not a terribly good warrior OR a terribly good monk... but seriously, just playing this build makes me giddy. Give it a try.

This sounds nice and pretty deadly if only I had word of healing.

Aura of Faith can turn that into ~40 hp per whack. Flurry could help attack more... I guess you could get riposte (even if you get no tactics) just for negating some melee damage now and then.

I dont really see what the point of it is, though. He wont dal very god damage, his ability to heal teammates is subpar, and his self survival ability is still questionable...

Umm because he's having fun playing it? Some people actually play for fun, not because of some superficial statistics or "uberness" of builds.

I would but 2 points in tactics swords go up to 8 at damages of 22.It might make a good solo build as well.Wild blow looks like an axe attack though.

This is infact a build discussion forum, anything here is open to criticism. That said, I'm glad you are having fun but I don't see how you can do anything at all to help out your team aside from being a decoy. Even then, you are wearing monk armor so you are going to be getting hit hard if you venture into the front lines, most likely harder then what you can heal for.

Maybe a warrior/monk build like this could be interesting, just start wacking on someone and ninja heal your teammates. You won't be targeted at all and if they catch on you will have much better survivability due to the warrior armor.

And to Age: Wild Blow isn't an axe only attack. It works for all melee weapons.
