Just finished reading the nice GW-Manuscripts book, and I freaking wanna play!
Anyway, I just tought we could have this huge thread were everyone discuss their character creation.
Im interested in doing a mix of Necro/Monk... Would I get my ass kicked?

Mesmer/Monk! Couldn't chose, had to lay down a paper on the floor with a circle divided into 6 parts, one for each class. Never did any of the BWEs, so I hope Mesmer/Monk isn't a doomed combo (doesn't seem like it).

I will probally stat off with a Ne/Wa and see how that goes. If I dont like it I will move it around some.
I wonder how many people will play necro's. From what I hear a necro as your primary isnt all that great. But I am sure a skilled player can make it work out nicely.

I'm thinking Necro/something cause they look cool and a ranger/something cause of the bow I'll get with my collectors edition. I didn't get in on the BWEs so I'm not too familiar with the game yet. So if anyone has any ideas on complimentary 2nd classes for these chars, i'd appreciate the input:Þ

I might make a Ranger/Elementalist.
I can use water attacks to slow down enemies then shoot them while they slowly come towards me.
Currently I'm toying with a Warrior/Monk and a Warrior/????. Not sure on what to experiment my 2nd warrior with. I think every class combo has good points..

I enjoyed my necro/ran last time so I'm keeping her. Hope to try out a few other secondarys though if they have added in the ability to let you switch. Such as necro/war and necro/elem.

-Because I like Necromancers in general, they look cool, and I am a fan of darkness. No I am not goth.

- Because I will deal damage and be able to keep myself alive (in theory).
I also am looking into Rangers and Mesmers. Mesmers sound interesting.
We will see in a bit what my final decision is.

Warrior/Monk probably here... I always like the Paladin look... then again I kinda want to fall into the sadistic side of myself and turn that Paladin even and make him go to the Necromancer side.
I don't know though.

I hate this waiting. I really want to play this game. I'm just trying to not get my hopes up too much in case my computer starts acting retarded on me, keeping me from further gameplay. I hope not!

am currently a mesmer ranger, as i had no idea, i chose mesmer becuase they looked cool. ranger just seemed to compliment it as well, so far everything goes ok
