Need Sword/Axe with "higher attack rate" Also need good Serpent Axe

I am looking for a Sword or Axe that has an increased attack rate. This is to screw around with an IW-based War/Mes in PVE and see what kind of DPS I can muster with a maximum attack speed.

I am also shopping around for a good gold Serpent Axe; however, I am not poor but neither am I wiling to throw down half a mil on an axe for the sake of looks, so be reasonable in your asking price. I do understand it's a Serpent and not a War Axe, but I don't want to throw around 800k on a "godly Serpent" so if you have a 13% or 14% inherent one that you don't want a fortune for, that's what I'm looking for.

if they exist the skill will become useless

I'm pretty sure they do exist, or at least did, at one point. They of course carry a penalty to offset the increased attack rate. They're also not all that insane as far as damage goes (I'm not sure I've ever seen a gold one like that).

Anyway, IW will not become useless with such a weapon; rather, it will become way more viable, because the only thing that makes IW deal more damage than it already does is a faster attack rate.

The +10% attack speed -25% critical hit rate weapon mod was taken out somewhere in the betas.

Why don't you just use the denravi sword?

I knew it didn't drop anymore; but I knew for a fact I'd seen one somewhere, and yeah, it was the critical hit drawback. I was just wondering if anyone still had one around.

Don't think I'm stupid looking for this weapon; it's not like I made it up. At least Interregnum knew what I was talking about. Pearhk I don't think you deserve high-council rank haha.

maybe that is close to what you are looking for?

there are weapons like this that you get for rewards from quests earlier in the game, but they arent max damage

anyway if u used this sword with iway it wouldnt make a difference because they capped the attack speed at +33% now
