Additional damage against enchanted foes, like Melandru's Arrows, with the added effect of become AoE.
I've seen Melandru's Assault hit up to 6 targets before, but that was densely packed PvE.
Still, who's going to complain about +34 (and more, if you invest heavily into Beast Mastery) damage on a single enchanted for, for 4-6 energy spent (Since you'll most likely have expertise)?
Quote:
Your animal companion attempts a Melandru's Assault that deals +5-17 damage. If that attack strikes a foe "Enchantment" that foe and all adjacent foes takes additional +5-29 damage.
Is the wording on this skill misleading or does the bonus actually do an "additional +5-29" damage, as opposed to just an "additional 5-29"? The former meaning the bonus is "the base damage plus the 5-29" and the latter meaning "5-29".
