How could i know when some bonus is maxed and when its not? I know that maximum value of "fortitude" suffix is 30 and enchanting - 20% but how about "+max dmg while..." etc? Where can i read something about items from gw? Second question: for example if ill find a fellblade (white item) without any bonuses and add some upgrades so it will be perfect but not gold- will it be worth the same as gold one with identical bonuses or no? Could i add upgrades to gold items or maybe i can change them with upgrades? Whats the maximum number of upgrades on weapon? 2?

To answer your first question, I think the easiest way in game is to go to a priest of balthazaar and look at what upgrades can be unlocked from him. The upgrades he willl unlock for you will always be perfect. Over time, you will learn the max, and it will just become natural.

To me, the fellblade with upgrades will be worth an identical one that is gold, but to others that is sometimes not the case. People will pay outrageous amounts of money for items that are gold when there are sometimes collectors that have the item, but better.

Yes, you can add upgrades to gold items, but their base properties (6-28 damage, 15%>50, etc.) will stay the same. And the maximum number of upgrades on a weapon is 2.

EDIT:

Nevermind, I found a listing of weapon upgrades, however, I can already see that some of them are off by a number or two. It is still quite useful.

Almost, but not quite. the upgrades he will unlock for you will be perfect, ONLY if you have already unlocked a lesser version, ie a 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, etc vamp string. If you have never unlocked a vamp string before, you need to unlock a lesser version before you get the 5:1. This applies to all upgrades that have multiple levels to them.
