On a whim, I bought Guild Wars tonight (mostly because if I want to return it I can since I won't open it until after my research) and let me tell you.. after doing some reading on the main website and here, I'm getting really excited!
This sounds like it's going to be a kickass game for people of my playing style. Those who don't want to obsess and spend every moment of every day playing, but are still able to be able to create a fully useable (competitive as it's being termed) character without major flaws. Also, since there won't be a monthly fee, I can go a period of time without playing and not feel like my money is being wasted.
I'm really looking forward to this!
Now, to find a guild to help me learn the game. Mwuahahaha.
