4th Trainers in Pre-Searing?
AlexanderD
I have a Level 6 Elementalist/Mesmer, and I heard that there are 4 trainers for each profession, the last being in a 'hidden' location, that's hard to come across. Can anyone tell me if this is true, and if it is, where to find the last Elementalist and Mesmer trainer(s)? Thanks!
edit: for further notice, if this is true, can anyone give me the locations of ALL the 4th trainers (as I want to go back and unlock all skills for all professions)?

Some have four, some have 3.

THe only one I've noticed to have four would be the necromancer. There is a hidden trainer back in the catacombs, I believe. You have to make a right at the first fork (the place where if you go left it leads you to poison water), and then just follow that. He should be in a big circular room, but I can't recall his name. Or what he teaches you for that matter.

Ya it's Oberon and he teaches curses. He's not really hidden as doing Rurik's quests will lead you to him anyway.
I think Aidan is more difficult to locate than him as the quest leading to him is kinda far from the mappable towns.

What is wrong, atleast in my opinion, with the trainers is that you really cant decide what you want to be in the tutorial.
My biggest gripe has always been with Elementalists. You can only be a Pyro or an Aero in the Tutorial. There is no Earth or Water magic available.

He's located east to the fishing village which is in the south east corner of the wizard folly. The another way to get to him is by doing soaking hunter horn in the spring quest(dont remember the quest name). That quest is given by a girl in Lakeside county just outside abby. After soaking the horn in the spring (it's in regent valley), you will have to give the horn to aidan so just follow the green pointer. That quest also gives you a very good bow for pre-searing.

Mesmers need more trainers. The one class that needs more of them, and we don't got 'em.

Ranger: Artemis (who is the first one), Nente, Ivor, Aidan
Ele: Aziure, Ralena, (plus the 1st one)
Mes: (1st one), Althea, Vassar
Mo: (1st one), Mhenlo, Grazden
War: (1st one), Grast, Barradin, Little Thom
Necro: (1st one), Munne, Oberan, Kasha
It took me till I had 3 characters to discover where Ivor Trueshot was... so I would vote him as the hardest trainer to find. Nente's "directions" to find him are extremely vague.

I hear Nente got fired from his job of giving directions in Morrowind for being too vague
