Increase in Ecto drop rate?

I hadn't done any UW or FoW for a few days, and when I had a go today, the first two UW runs I got 2 ecto each run! (The third run I made a mistake and died early.)

Anyone else noticed an increase in the ecto drop rate?

I hope they didnt increase it, the game doesnt have much rareity on anything much anymore. everything seems to becomming to easy to get.. its sad, there seems to be no such thing as rare items anymore.

Yes i did notice it, today in my first run with my ranger/ele i got 8 ecto's. then in fow i snatched up another 4.. while the rest of my party each got about 2-3.. they should lower the prices of them, as they make them more common tho.

Last night, I was on a 3 man team to do UW smite runs. One of our team amassed 7-8 ectos in 4 runs. Another got 2. I didn't get any Ecto drops, but (and this is a sign of true sportsmanship), The lucky team member who had 7-8 drops gave me an ecto.

Other than that, I don't feel an increase or decrease in Ecto drops- I think it's still just the luck of the drops.

Well before today, when I was doing a lot of UW I was getting maybe 1 ecto every 5 runs or so. So the stats you two are quoting sound like a great increase to what I was getting. But maybe the anti-farming code had been nerfing my drops before.

It was said that the number of times you farm, the drop rates decrease.
