Hi,
I recently started a mesmer for the heck of it, and now it has come to the point of the game when I'm capping elites.
Is there this energy denial elite spell? I always hear people talking about it, but I never managed to find the boss! Where is it exactly? Thanks!

Energy Denial is no skill to be exact 
It is a strategy and resolving around draining as much energy for as long as possible. The (two) Eliteskills which happen to drain energy are:
Energy Drain (Stealing up to 20 Energy from target, giving them to you)
Energy Surge (Stealing like, hm 8 or 10 energy from target, doing 8 or 10 damage per energy stolen. Not sure about the numbers).

But there is a lot more to energy denial than just those two skills. Experiment some. You want your target to stay close to 0 for example and just recasting your powerful drainspells isn't doing that much of a dent. Energy Denial is working best when accompanied by another person who has a weak spammable drainspell (like the Fear Me! Skill of a Warrior) or using Ether Lord (which is just a bit ineffective to cast when you have more than 5 energy... and you'll most likely have those after draining energy like a lunatic.)

I'm guessing you're talking about Energy Drain. The easiest way to cap it is to go outside Marhan's Grotto until the right boss spawns and then slaughter all the ice imps and the mesmer boss. It's a good skill, and well worth the few minutes it takes to capture.
