I want to create a earth magic elementalist, and since i will most likely be close to the battle along side with the warrior(s), i need help deciding what secondary will help me out while im towards the front of the battle, whether its healing myself/others or doing extra AoE skills. this char won't be doing PvP.

I recommend Armour of Earth (earth) (it really allows you to stand up front and take the damage)
Inferno,
Firestorm,
PHoenix

PBAOE is amazing in PvE where nothing runs away. It is always nice as well to have some healing in builds like this incase you do a little soloing ... so keep that in mind for the secondary class or choose Aura of Restoration.

You will find that just about every dies very quickly to a build like this and it makes group PvE sickeningly easy. One thing I would recommend however is to take at least two different damage types, that way if you find something resistant to fire, then you can use your aftershock or whatever else you have along.

If it won't be doing PvP, then i'd take Monk as a subclass .. if for no other reason to have a real rez skill with you. Restore Life, or in some cases Rebirth, are the only skills that I consider 'must have' in PvE.
You can probably get by just from splitting Earth / Energy Storage, as the Earth Magic line is diverse enough that you don't necessarily need something else to augment it. Though if you wanted to play more of a utility role, you could factor in Healing Prayers and focus on laying down Wards and tossing spare healing where it is needed.
If you wanted to get creative, you could try switching to the Smiting Prayers line for a skill like Shield of Judgement or Bane Signet, and pairing that with Aftershock.

u can pack up with close range power houses and take them out

maybe go
fire - 10
earth - 10
healing - 10
e storage - 5

lava font (start this one first = 5 secs of 20 damage, then start the other close range killers)
aftershock (close range killer, ex if there knokced down)
inferno (close range killer)
pheonix (close range super killer)
armor of earth (defense!!)
some type of rez (team will love u)
healing hands (since ull be up there with the warriors taking melee.)
orison of healing (basic healer)

Monk is certainly one way to go, as Spooky says, it'll let you pick up a valuable rez skill which can really save you from having to do the mission all over if half your party gets wiped (Although, sometimes finishing a tough mission all by yourself with the rest of your party rooting you on can be a pretty good rush, too.) and the defensive skills of the Monk's Healing or Protection lines will work well with the enchantments and defenses available in Earth. One thing you might consider, then is an Earth/Protection combination where you'll buff up with Armor of Earth and a few choice Monk buffs then use Ether Renewal to super charge your energy flow. You'll want to cast spells quick there so something like Reversal of Fortune or Stone Daggers is called for, but by taking those few seconds you can easily afford the expensive Earth nukes like Eruption or Earthquake.

So you could look at something like an ES 10/Earth 11/Protection 10 build with Ether Renewal {E} (ES), Armor of Earth (Earth), Earthquake (Earth), Erruption (Earth), Stone Daggers (Earth), Guardian (Prot), Reversal of Fortune (Prot), Rebirth (Prot) giving you some decent offensive punch and good defensive staying power that you can spread around your party as well. The idea being to nuke away until you're dipping low on energy then buff up with Armor of Earth, Guardian, and Reversal of Fortune, then cast Ether Renewal and spam away with Stone Daggers and Guardian - or Reversal of Fortune and Guardian if you're being focused - to net a ton of energy quickly while your nukes recharge. And if your party's light on healing you can toss around RoF and Guardian to protect people. Also, if you're in Earth, the Wards can work extremely well in PvE where monsters are likely to clump together and stay on one target. And an Earthquake+Aftershock+Crystal Wave combo is another possibility if you're looking to go the PBAoE route. There are also plenty of other defensive enchantments you can look at such as Obsidian Flesh which can work well if you're buffed up before casting it.

However, I'll also offer an alternative in that if you're planning to be up in front with the Warriors you might as well try and bring some Warrior yourself. Going Elementalist/Warrior lets you pick up Sprint, which you can use to outrun trouble as well as put points into Tactics which will give you a shield to carry - a focus isn't as important to you because you'll already have Energy Storage - as well as the shouts and stances within that attribute line. It's a choice if you're more interested in playing more to the Elementalist side of things and are just looking to add a few little things but if you want to run with the Warrior's you could do worse than to join their ranks.

Elementalist/Ranger for a few stances, too, such as Serpent's Quickness to recharge your skills faster, or a ritual like Energizing Winds is also a possibility.

yeah, I agree with Spooky and Dovi, I would take /mo without a second thought for PvE. If you think you will be playing with alot of warriors, drop points into Earth, Energy Storage, and Healing (Protection if there will be another healing monk along). Then stack yourself with the hard hitting earth spells, exhaustion really shouldnt be a bother in PvE, so you dont have to worry about that. Get wards to keep your guys alive, and then get something to heal, and something to maybe remove hexes or conditions as they are quite prevalent in PvE. So maybe something like the following.

E/Mo
Earth 11 - Energy Storage 10 - Healing (Protection) 10
1) Ward
2) Ward/healing
3) healing (Healing Breeze is always nice)
4) healing (Condition/Hex removal)
5-8) Damage dealing such as earthquake or aftershock
**Then try to bring a rez along, something like rebirth or restore life would suffice.

If you can team up with a few good warriors and a healer, you should mow people down. Also, if you do try smiting, take Judge's Insight, as it deals holy damage, and Holy Damage does extra damage to the undead (lots of them in Kryta explorable areas). I have had warriors doing 50 or more damage for just a normal attack! (and their weapon wasnt even that good, around a 20-ish for max damage)
