Its 12 am, still stuck on Second key entry

its 12am, i'm still stuck on enter new access key when i've already done so in installation, anyone else having this problem?

What time zone are you? If you're PDT then it might be a problem. If you're EDT then we have until 3:00AM before we can play. Do the math for time zones in between.

It's 3:17am (PDT) on the 28th, and my retail cd-key isn't being accepted by the game. I keep getting an 'error 102' and I know I've entered it right, I've scrutinized every letter for possible variants (B's and 8's, 1's and l's, etc.) .

Rather annoying fubar on the cd-key accepter...

The topic creator was trying to log in before retail keys were actually accepted...almost 2 hours early.

You, on the other hand, may just have a bad CD key. I would try to contact customer support or exchange the game for another from wherever you got it.

OK I got the retail version Yesterday and have sense then gotten nothing but key errors(err 102), IT is only 10:21am on the 28th where i am at. Now from what i can gather i will not be able to play until 12am or 3am. Is this correct? and which is it, 12am or 3am?

Also, I have been reading for similar problems and most people with the retail version (who should all be waiting til 12am to play) are entering their key and gettingf a msg saying they must wait until release.
But in my perticular situation i do not get this msg at all. Instead my access key is denied.

Im just hoping that it will be valid by 12am!

well. same thing with me, just came home with it and installed it, and get this error. im entering everything right, its 12:40 now, and it if doesnt start working at 3, im guna flip.

it has been live for everybody for 10 hours now

I am still not getting in! is it possible that people have already gotten hacked keys and im ripped off!

If this is the case im really pissed. All i wanted was a releiving vacation from EQ. A lil pvp here and there and what not. But NO, ive got a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing goddamn ripped off key!

I think I may have figured out my problem, but I can't test it.

I took a digital photo of the CD key to send to customer support (*through their official form, not on an email reply) and when I looked at it in photoshop fully zoomed in, I noticed that the letter that looked like an '8' could be a '6' with REALLY bad printing. It looks very similar to the '8' which is also in my key, but not identical; and not at all like a 'B'.

If their CD-key printer prints 6's to look that close to an '8', then I doubt I'd be the only one to mistake it. It requires zooming in and creative interpretation of the symbol to get '6' out of it.

I'll try it when I get home from work, I don't have a GW client here.

i finally got in. i just went back to main screen and filled out the information again

Same here my 6's look like 8's and B's! But not sure which is which now.....
