energy question

hi,

as i could not get a satisfying answer in the german forums, i have decided to ask you americans:

although there is not any spell casted nor any condition on my char, it sometimes happens that my skills cost double energy.
so far this only seems to happen to elementalists; it´s not about exhaustion as this should only make my energy regenerate slower.

You were probably under Quickening Zephyr, which is a nature ritual, which makes all skills cost 30% more energy, but recharge 50% faster.

no, that is the point, there was no such thing like zephyr!
what else could it be?

When does it happen that you have double energy costs? maybe your enchants just expired.

Well, as far as I know, there's nothing that makes your skills cost double. Maybe someone was energy draining you, or you were getting hit by debilitating shot.
