Guess scamming and ebay are all thats left...

The ways to raise money and 'make a living' in Guild wars are getting pretty lame. Farming isn't even an option anymore unless you have that SPECIFIC 105 monk build. I have a unique build that allows me to farm minotaurs, the occassional griffons (if not too many at the same time), and some white mantle. But EVERYTHING is so nerfed now that you don't get jack. I waited around 2 days to do a griffon/minotaur run, and got a blue (non max damage bow) after killing about 20 things. That's it. I remember when I used to get some golds, and at least purples. It's just rediculous.

I guess if you want to get money you might as well go work a job and buy on ebay or try your hand at effective scamming/bartering. Seems now that I can raise WAY WAY more money buying items cheap and selling them back at a high price. It just seems way to tedious. I think Anet should bring the drops back. If people bot, let them... whatever. But there are A LOT of people getting penalized that don't have anything to do with botters. I guess it's just kind of lame how everything is nerfed so badly. At least un-nerf the spots and make monsters present in the area that DON'T allow you to solo.

Well the idea of rare is for something to be actually rare, not something you get by walking out and killing a few idiotic cows. I think somewhere along the lines people forgot what a rare was, do you want it to drop as frequently as blues, or maybe purples? Hell why don't the just put them on the floor as soon as we walk outside.

The chances of drops (rare ones and uncommon) go up as you fight harder mods, not idiotic cows that stack up and just look at you while only two attack.

Yeah but two runs (did another) after waiting two days and you get 2 blues that aren't even max damage with some crappy mods on them? The first 5 runs I did I got 3 purples and 4 golds (1 gold or purple AT least) every run. It's obvious that it got nerfed. People do the entire FOW/UW and get one ecto or something.

Just saying, nerfing is not the way to take care of botters.

I think you may have over farmed the spot at the start, or were very lucky. The minos are pretty idiotic and easy to kill anyway so their drops probably got nerfed due to this. Gryphons are still good though, as they are harder to kill than funny old minos. If you really want good drops though the unfarmbable stone summit is there for you :P
