So knights armor

So quick question.

I heard that in the past, you could use one peice of knights armor to give yourself a global amount of damage reduction. Has anet patched this yet? Also, wouldn't it be better to wear all knights armor for even more damage reduction?

the reduction is still global as far as I know but multiple pices don't stack. An absorbtion rune will still stack with the knights though.
