Guild Capes

Whats the straight story on Guild Capes? What do they cost? I was told 200 gold, then collected it, and its not enough. Can someone who Actually knows reply?

you need 2000 gold or 2 bars of platinum.

where u get the platnum?

You don't go "get" the platinum - as soon as you have 1000 gold, it turns into a platinum bar.

someone said you must go to fountain in middle of town to make have someone make an emblem then you can make a cape? Is this true?

To be honest, I have no idea. When I made mine it was easy as pie - in pre-sear Ascalon, I just went up to the Guild creator guy, designed the cape, and paid him 100 gold.

I was the guy who said that, but yes if you have a guild already from the last BWE's then you can make the cape in Pre-Searing (climb to the top of the stairs in ascalon) only for 100. If not then you will have to make the cape in Post Searing Ascalon city, the Guild Emblem guy does this and it costs 2000 gold which is equivalent to 2 platinum bars(everytime you get 1000 gold it automatically turns into a plat bar). That is how you make a guild cape.

I had a guild last beta and still had to pay the Pre-Searing Ascaron's Guild Registrar 2000 gold.

Huh. I musta just been really lucky. I signed in right when the servers opened, played for a bit, missed seeing my cloak so as soon as I had 100 gold I went and had it remade.
