Lvl 3 Ascending??? Expert advice needed!

ok, just for the hell of it i am making a follow-up movie to The Run! movie I made, I call this one the Ascension! (hopefully)

I need your help ppl!

ok, so I wanted to ascend as low and quick as i can, After 1 hour in Pre-Searing I have an age of 3 hours and am at augry rock with Thirsty river open only. tomarrow I will open the other 2 missins and should win all 3 of them.

NOW! for the impossible, My mesmer monk, how whould you face him at lvl 4 in this situation? what spells besides constant healing breeze? could this even be done? some ascend at VERY low lvl's just not this low, what stratagies do u recomend? I WOULD say no skills but breeze and just battle it out BUT! even with a minor rune and +51 armor, i will take BIG dmg. I got that armor since i knew i would needs as much defense as i can. So far it is fun to say "Lvl 3 mesmer LFG" in the oasis.

Easy. Wastrel's worry and hex breaker as your only 2 spells. All you do is tap the strafe buttons back and forth(left and right) as fast as you can while casting hex breaker and he'll kill himself.

(IF you can manage, empathy would help make it faster too. But you gotta make sure not to get hit at all... damage is deadly from that guy's bow)

uhhh lvl 3 is the lowest you can ascend....and its been done...many times

just use empathy and sidestep his attacks...and repeat....it takes no time...after you get the hang of it

What is the fastest someone ever went from creation to ascending? that would be fun to know, i know it wont be this character, we stopped and goofed a bit. I wanted to go for time but that has left

I figure at current rate 5-6 hours total time, my dumb self spending time in pre-searing LOL

backfire with all healing spells and use backfire and watch him killhimself is what i did with my mesmer but he was lvl 8..

i would do the empathy thing

well, i may let her use my elementals staff for the energy and dual +29 health benefits as well, it aint like she will be blasting at him and she will still get the +10 energy and +29, +29 health bonus, that should do. of course the staff goes back to elemantal after or he willl have words with her!

err.... how do you get into the three mission groups as a level 3?

Well, I'm trying to ascend with my monk/mesmer lvl 17, but all those backfire and wastrells'worry and empathy tactics won't really work....With empathy he keeps hitting me...So I die quicker cuz he is lvl 20:S

Be funny to arrive at Ember Camp and tell people that you just got there by running... see how many people you can dupe into believing you got run there. Tell them of a secret land bridge near the Sanctum Cay that leads over the sea to the Ring of Fire

EDIT: you could start a massive trend! hundreds of PvE'ers and PvP'ers alike all spending countless hours scouring the coastline looking for this hidden (perhaps partly submerged) landbridge

Guildmates FTW! We drug along a level 4 Ranger through all three missions. After he beat his mirror, we drug him into UW to do 40k exp runs a pop until he hit 20. (Under the new exp you get from the mirror, you may not hit 20 if you ascend too early.) But now we have a runner! (Ranger/Warrior that can run just about anywhere on the map. The benefits of him getting his character up to 20 far outweighed the price of gimping the party in the Desert missions.)

Somebody knows what's the best way to kill him as a lvl 17 mo/me? Now the side stepping doesn't work anymore...

I did it with my level 6 mesmer just spamming distortion and the empathy/sidestep ;o

You didn't take any other spells?

Argh, everytime I get him to like 25% of his life left, then I die:S

That sucks i got him to 5% max health and died

when did they fix that? I did it last week, or maybe it was a few weeks ago...

Strafing side-to-side still works. You just have to be good at it.
