Cyclone axe attack and adrenaline

If you do a cyclone attack that hits 3 enemies...

Does that build one point of adrenaline or 3?

Anytime you hit an enemy and anytime you take a hit gives you a point of adrenaline. So if you hit 3 enemies with cyclone axe, that would give you 3 points of adrenaline.
