Ode to Alicia

How humorous the Anet deisgners must be
To have a healer that heals neither you nor me.
Trust that when our vile enemies dare to draw near
Alesia will fight, of that you may have no fear!

Its true that her attacks may do little damage
While she bravely stands in the face of their rampage
As I watch my health fall into steady decline
I think, a healing spell about now would be fine

But alas, Alesia is more patient than I
And stands still contemplating the luminous sky
Did I give her some hurtfull insult in the past
That she should save healing me to the very last?

As I lie watching my life seep into the earth
I confess that I must question Alesia's worth
For she could not find one second to save my life
Yet now has 8 to rez me amid all this strife!

So please Anet designers hear my only plea
I know just the fix for the problem we all see
You must either give Alesia a shield and axe
Or change her AI to heal rather than attack

You have expressed my feelings ever more graciously than I could have. Her title should be "Doesn't Heal Henchman". Can I afford to leave town without her though? No, because at some point I am going to die and at least the HOPE of a resurrect is nice to have.

You know what would be an awesome side quest? Beat on Alesia.
