Just curious - why do people need minotaur horns in large quantities ?

The Horns are for the collectors items... you can get some really great items and Weapons for 5 horns each. people trade of the items they want then sell them in LA most of the time.

For collector items. LOTs of collector items.

You can get items that sell well, or armor that salvages for some good materials.

There is one outside the augury rock that offers an armor piece. (I cannot remember which)

There is a collector outside elona reach that gives uber fire wand. Its very popular and you can sell it easily to noobs(or at least, you were able to sell it back in the day when most ppl were on their first char).
