the bow is worth way more than the string, i can't tag a price on it though, but to give you an idea : hornbows give 10% armor penetration at all times anyway, and this is a max dmg hornbow with low req, with dmg modifier (one of the most popular dmg modifiers), not a perfect modifier, but still nice.
