Hey,
I was wondering if it was possible to "kill"/Delete your pet/animal so you can get another one if you're a ranger.
Also, can any other classes create/charm any kind of pet?
Thanks.

You need to go to a Tamer NPC to trade in your pet. You can find one right outside of Post-Searing Ascalon.
Rangers are the only class that gets a pet, the closest thing to it would be the Necromancer, who can raise minions (which deteriorate as time goes on, thus they are not permanent like a Ranger's pet.)

Oh okay. Thanks for the info.
Before the searing, I was looking for a pet that wasn't a cat, so I came across a bear. I had a friend tank the thing so I could charm it..But it would just cancel out in the middle. Is this because my beast mastery wasn't high enough?

Well, I'd be willing to recreate my character so I can get a bear as my pet...Are there bears anywhere after the post searing? I havn't seen any.

i have not seen any yet, although i spent most of my time in the last few BWEs in the pre-searing specifically for this putpose. it is a very difficult task and may require some sort of "cheating" the system..
my suggestion is to go ahead and get on with your life. someone will work it out eventually.

(For the record, the color of the text of a mob denotes its current friend/foe status. It does not now, never has, and never will have anything to do with its charmability.)
