After some heavy reading and some minor trial/error, I've come up with 2 decent builds [pve/pvp] for a Death Magic Warrior. [oh the humanity...]
HIGH dmg non-tank builds, these guys were made to lay the smack down. Due to Death Magic being a real Beast in the Energy management scenarios, a VERY smart player will need to either figure out what skills will give the best energy for return or just use them with correct timing, either way, it's TOUGH... Both assume healer is backing up.
PvE build, Extreme Dmg W/N Death Magic
12+1+3 Axe Mastery
10 Death Magic
Rest to Strength +3 rune
Cyclone Axe
Dismember
Axe Rake
Bonetti's Defense
Victory is Mine! {E}
Plague Touch
Necrotic Traversal
Putrid Explosion
With 2 energy management skills in here and a nice condition bomb that is Necrotic [cheap too], this build should rip a mob down [if it's fleshy] with ease. If not, Putrid Explosion after a successful ViM! should wittle down foes nicely. With Putrid being the only large energy cost skill in this build, this mob eater shouldn't have any trouble turning mobs into piles of corpses.
PvP Armor Piercing DoT + Spiker Conditions Blend
Penetrating Blow
Dismember / Eviscerate {E}
Axe Rake
Executioner's Strike
Frenzy
Sprint
Plague Touch
Virulence {E} / Necrotic Traversal
This build throughly maximizes damage through both the Adrenal Spike that is Penetrating Blow, Dismember, Rake, Exe, AND the massive DoT that is Virulence. Specifically speaking, this build can support teammates by hunting enemy warriors and making them weak [yay for weakness], it's armor piercing; OR it can hunt down enemy casters and synergize with fellow teammates. Victory is Mine! {E} or Fragility anyone? Healing disease should be your monk's job anyway and shouldn't be of any consequence.
The alternate build relys more on the Godly Eviscerate elite and does a LOT harder hitting spike damage. However, it looses the massive DoT that is Virulence, which is fine really. Instead, you have Necrotic Traversal as your added DoT. The fact that it novas around your random corpse allows you to use DoT effectively. [many foes with DoT is more efficient than one fool with DoT. Thankfully, it's just 5 energy and allows the warrior to do his role, more dmg... ^_^]
This is a VERY tough setup to concieve [even worse would be any W/R] but I think this build has its own synergies which complement itself well and any team. Your thoughts on augmenting?
Obvious weaknesses would be just mass hexing and since Victory is Mine {E} isn't always in there, running defense against mass conditioning can be a problem.
W/N Death Magic types, next round...

Hi, I am pretty new to guild wars so have probobly missed something, but here is my 2cents anyway :P
Cyclone Axe
Dismember
Axe Rake
Bonetti's Defense
Victory is Mine! {E}
Plague Touch
Necrotic Traversal
Ive never really found this useful, when do you?
I prefer the sever/gash combo. Also instead of dismember i'd go with shadow of fear (i think) the one that slows movement 50% of a group for aaaages.
You have invested no points in tactics so Bonetti's Defense / Victory is Mine! {E} wont last very long at all....Isnt that a bad idea?
Having that much death magic it seems a shame not to use summon bone minion...Also missing mark of pain is a major oversite IMO. Finally I would use the insect spell... (attack upto three targets).
I always jump a group casting shadow of fear while they are still clumped close together (slowing all of them) followed by Insect Stormy spell, to damage. then get up close and use mark of pain / sever / gash. With a grim cesta rather than a sheild my W/N has enough mana to cast all of those spells.
Apologies if this isnt coherant, its my first post

Your suggestions would work, but ONLY for a curses build. This is a death magic based build designed to deal a lot of damage. Putting points in tactics won't let me deal the damage I want.
What's more, Victory is Mine! {E} is a great elite because it's not the hp we're after, it's the energy. 0 Tactics means u get a lot of energy in any case. Bonetti's is barely 5 seconds if u decide to wear a Tactics minor rune, however, in those 5 seconds, you can refill your entire energy bar in pve no problem.
The problem running Putrids, summoning, and the like is that it's too energy heavy. A warrior's biggest skills should ONLY cost 10 energy. If he has no energy manager, then over half his bar might be adrenaline to make up for it.
