From the early beta days people have been asking for some interesting additions to Guild halls for guild commerce. Today I had a bit of an Epiphany.
Follow.
A addition to guild hall to include a guild trader. This is a separate DB instance from the world market traders in towns. They get zero injection from arenanet and never have anything that was not first sold to them from internal guild commerce.
What this means.
Guy gets a few runes on a mission. instead of selling them to a NPC in lions arch or where ever, they go to the guild hall and sell it to their guild trader.
This will ensure that others in your guild will be able to purchase these runes if someone in the guild found them and supplied them for the guild to buy.
This would also mean that different guilds would have different prices depending on availability. and if the trader doesnt need any, they say no thank you I have enough. thus sending the guild member to the outside market to sell it to the NPCs in town or whatever.
This would ensure that even though the World market may be out of stock, some guilds at least will have a supply of them for internal commerce.
Since guild halls are in process of getting instance upgrade anyway this is an interesting concept to look at. It may also attract more activity in the Guild Halls.
Its just a thought. lets see what some think...
New concept on old Guild storage Idea.

Sweet but it wouldn't help the smaller guilds as much.
