Just reported this to ArenaNet, i used the /bug but im also sending screenshots incase my description was not good enough. You know how sometimes it can be hard to describe things at times.

Anyway, we were in the fissure last night, and we had just done the wailing lord quest when one of our party took the griffons

Anyway, we had managed so hard to get 1 player to stay behind with the griffons while we clear the path. Unfortunately we died, and we needed the person to res us, so as it happened he came, and the griffons being themselves attacked the enemies and all died, provoding the "Party has been defeated" thing, however, one of our party (The person who stayed behind) never died and he was able to res us all. We all should have died.

Anyway, just so you know.

Yeah it can be done. It actually makes FoW real fun to play it this way. To make it work you have to have the res be casted and go off right as you are defeated. You are killed by a massive damage spike when it says party defeated but when you first res you are immune to any damage so you can survive and res the other players. I think this works on all missions but I have never tried it on any other ones.

However, I remember someone posting sometime back that they lost the FoW armor that they tried to craft it while under this bug. Definitely NOT something you want to take a risk with. Other than that, there's no negative side to this that I know of.

Never tried crafting under it so I'm not sure. And your thread is were I got the idea and set out to replicate and make use of it.

It surely is a bug though. So doing so would be bug abuse?

I only did it like 8 times and not for very long once a I figuired out how to replicate it. Now I use it when I want to have fun with new guildes. No real abuse I mean not like the Mirrior thing but I will say that it wasn't exactly the right thing to do.

I see another bug! A mesmer in FoW!

Speaking from experince is a pain to get onto any FoW/UW group as a mesmer.

Though the few that I have done with my Mesmer have done remarkably well. Though Don't think I need to go there anymore with him. Have all the skills I need for PvP.

Mesmers are a must in FoW. I mean there are so many freaking casters that it is nice when the monk can't heal or the necro can't curse or there mesmer can't hex ETC.

Tell that to everyone else.

Though I perticuarly enjoy lettings the Nightmares hex the Warriors, shatter hex works well in such instances, can usually take the shadow warriors and nightmares down rather quickly with Shatter Hex and Arcane Echo.

This is ofcourse after the monk is good and dead.

No. If I did then the mesmers wouldn't feel greatful when I accept then and act all nice. Not to mention that it would be harder to find one as other people would want them.

Hehe, this is one of those bugs that I like to see. CHEAT DEATH IN FOW!!!! Cool! Losing Fissure armor would suck ass though.

I had this happen with Unwanted Guests before in the Underworld, but we were automatically sent back even though no one clicked the "return to outpost" button.
