Gate between Old Ascalon & The Breach?

Sorry I don't know if this is the right forum for this - I hope so. hehehe

Anyways, I've seen on map's here & elsewhere that there are 2 warp's between Old Ascalon & The Breach in Post Searing. Now I know the 1 gate is where Gate Guard holis is, the other gate is where you went through to get to the Northlands when you were in pre-searing.

Now my problem is that with all my characters I only ever have the warp where Holis is. I have never worked out how the other gate is supposed to be opened - there doesn't appear to be any lever's or anything, and the Gate Guard who stands by it on the Old Ascalon side never has anything to say. Yet on every map I've seen it shows that as possible warp zone.

Now for me I don't mind going the long way... but it's sort of irksome for me to have this gate standing there not opened for me.. yet see other people seem to have opened it as they show it as a warp zone. I would love to know if that really is a way of getting from Old Ascalon to The Breach and back and just how to open it.

Attached is a pic taken from of the of the maps that I d/l'ed off this site with the gate/warp showing (cut off to just the right place) with a red circle drawn around the gate/warp that I can't see/open.

I don't have that gate on my map. I've not seen it since pre-searing.

The map is wrong. There aren't two gates. Check the ingame map.

It's a one way warp, you can go from the breach to ascalon, but cant open the gate from the ascalon side.

It's a no-way warp. You can't go through at all. The gate is there, but it doesn't open.

It doesn't show up as a warp on my in-game maps for any of my characters - yet it was shown on the maps provided here from this site..

I was wondering if there was a quest that opened the gates and made it into a warpable zone that I had missed... but look's like it's not.

Maybe you need 2+ real people in the group to get the quest or to open it? Maybe Gate Guard Sebastion (I think that's his name) will only take and/or give a quest and/or open the gate if your with multiple people...

Or maybe there used to be a way of opening it but it has been removed since the maps were made.. thus making the maps incorrect. Ah wells..

and it's not openable from The Breach side either.. I've gone there with 3 chaarcters at various point's after doign various quests to/fdrom Piken Square... and nothing...

Ah wells. I guess it's just a case of incorrect maps.. heh. wonder why they have a warp there tho.. Thank you for all the responses to this, muchly appreciated
