Make a monk, turn him into a 55 invincimonk, go farm UW and desert griffons.

I dont think many new monks are going to get very far if they try to do that, unless they get leveled to 20 very fast and get all the armor/runes/items they need soon, they will find themselves with a nerfed build, Anet is definantly doing something about it. Although it may just be in certain Areas like the UW.

More then likely there are just going to start throwing more Necros and Ranger types around to Kill the enchantments... That is the easiest way to fix the 105/85/55's that are running around.

To answer your question, IMO, find what area provides exp and decent amount of enemies you can handle. From there, find out if the enemies are dropping anyting worth while. Rinse and repeat. I found two rare drops today just trying to skill cap.
